Guide to WoW Beta 3 *No link to the actual torrent here*

Step 1: Get WoW Beta #3
You will have to find your own link to the torrent download, sorry.

*NOTE*: If u are getting it from bittorrent style and you have a router or a firewall, make sure your ports are open. Open ports 6881-6999. By doing so, you can get faster speeds. If those ports are already open and speeds are still slow, try lowering your upload speed slightly. If that doesn't increase the speed, just be patient for it is a virtue. It usually speeds up in a hour or two.

Step 2: Extraction/Installation
2. Open .part01 with WinRaR ( http://www.rarlabs.com )
3. Extract it to any folder
4. Run Installe.exe (If you get this error "This Application has Failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found." then download this: ( http://www.dll-files.com/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/dll-files/topdown/download.pl?file=msvcr71.zip ) and put it in your \Windows\System or Windows\System32 folder
5. Enter any cdkey you wish.
6. Read the onscreen insturctions and proceed to install it
7 get the patch http://212.50.0.83/WoW.exe replace the original wow.exe with the new one you just downloaded (backup the old wow.exe just incase you need it later)
8. Read a tutorial on how to connect to a server.


Step 3: Connecting to the servers

You do realize this is against forum rules correct? Telling people who play a NON OPEN beta is strictly forbidden. This needs to be closed and you need to be punished.

Forged is wrong. You are telling people how to crack and illegally get into a CLOSED beta. This is against the rules.

Well, I did what Forged said I could do,a nd if an Admin wants to they can delete this thread if they want. I justt hink you're mad at Forged.

You think I have a grudge? Ask ANYONE on the official blizzard forums, blizzforums, or any legit player here. They will tell you the same thing. Cracking WoW is illegal and it is forbidden here. Use common sense.

If the Admin thinks this shouldn't be here, then he can delete it. I don't really care, it's just that Forged said it's ok as long as I don't give the exact link the torrent. It's not like a lot of people come in here anyways.
