:( Growing out of video games.

This happen/happening to anyone else. I keep getting feelings of like why am I playing this and ect. Anyone else here grow out of them. I dont really want to. I mean this shits like my childhood I was 2 years old when I first picked up the controller. I used to love video games, now its so boring. All of the new games that have come out are really boring yet my brothers are like omfg fallout 3 is like jizzable.The game was boring as fuck. I really dont want this to happen. :damnit:



Oh and i didnt post this in video game discussion cuz its not about a video games its discussion about the hobby itself.

You get older. It happens. I barely game anymore and it used to be a huge part of my life. It's still fun for me but there isn't really that compulsion to play any more.

responsibility and having more things to do help curve your video game habbit.

Also playing alot of the same games does it.

Gamefly keeps me going. Get a new gane every month or so.

aside from the stress relief of cod4 i rarely play anymore. i recently installed dead space, left 4 dead, and bioshock but havent beaten the first level of any of them. havent even opened bioshock :|
9-9-09 thats all gonna change though. for about a week.

actually when gran turismo 5 comes out, that will be my life until i beat it. or forza 3.

I have a rare condition known as Video game ADD. When I got my Xbox and just had left 4 dead I played it to death (and probably still would). When I got the 9 other games, I haven't played any of them. I try to start, then wander. Just can't commit, and lose focus on trying to commit to too many, and don't play any.

I would be playing Empire Total War, but that kicks the shit out of my computer and barely runs, and I've only been playing RE5 because of the co-op.

i kinda have the same problem...i purchased around 5 games within the last couple months and i cant figure out which i want to play, so i end up just playing what my friends are (usually halo or marvel alliance)

I used to have the same a short while back, bought 3 games, spent two weeks deciding which one I want to play more. Played one of them through, started the other two but never got past first half hour.

I don't play much nowadays, I just use the computer to watch anime and read manga. I play a few games of online Go every week, but that's it.

Eh, with work and personal life, barely have time for maybe an hour a day, if that. But, most the games coming out for ps3 and xbox are usually the same things they did for PS1, PS2, Xbox, justg a different story(Imo). But eh, I'll have to wait for Diablo 3 and FF13 to come out to completely judge that.

I used to play a lot of games in high school(rainbow six, warcraft II, rogue spear, etc), but when I got to college, I found less and less time to play. Looking back, I just prioritized other stuff ahead of gaming. I still game occasionally, but not as much as I used to. Also, I think I stopped gaming because I stopped buying games(last one I bought was halo 3) and just never found the time and effort to get another game.

I still play games. And because of the hours I work a week, I have restricted most of my games to my PC related things. I don't have an XBOX or Wii, or PS3. The highest emulator I have is PS2 and DS. I also play games that come out for the PC. But since PSO:BB is taking up a lot of my play time, I have neglected some games like RA3: Uprising and STALKER: Clear Sky and UT 3. So I kind of lack variety as well. But that is mainly because there are 8 characters out of the 12 I want to play as, and I have only done 3 of them so far (starting my 4th when my 2nd and 3rd hit 150 of 200).

And I mostly use muTorrent to gather TV shows, movies, or hard to gather PSX ISOs.

The last new game I bought before Uprising was RA3 itself. Mainly because the new generation of PC games don't interest me as much as the classics do. And the classics don't have spam 20 hour a day merits to them.
