Grandfather Question

I just got my 09 grandfather after weeks of trying to get one. I was waiting to get a clean one. Now that I have a clean GF, what is the absolute best thing to socket it with. I have about 6 hexes left to trade away for something to socket into it. Please hurry with your help because i want to get all the items i can before blizz deletes all the hexes. Thanks.

since it's 09 is it a high enuff % to worry about?

really grandfather ain't worth puttin much into it....
if u deal in hex's then i'd think u'd feel the same way...
i'd say jah it if u really wanna make it worth your while

I wouldn't put a Jah in it. With PvM, you can usually hit plenty of times. I'd go with a 40/15ias jewel, since that will put you at another break point (for WW). I've seen people shael grandfather's to get their berserk to 10 frames, and I've seen some eth ones, but in general, a 40/15ias isn't a bad way to go. And I really wouldn't use Jah for PvM. If it increases your chance to hit from 85% to 95%, then that's a 10% extra chance of hitting (duh). However, if you break the next breakpoint, that's pretty much another 85% chance that you'll hit. So you tell me which is better

yes i would definatly agree with c9h and saying 40/15 after finding that u get another frame ias wise

It's not another frame, it's another WW breakpoint. In 1.09, your on weapon IAS and the range of the weapon determine how many times you can hit a particular target.

if it were pvp
Jah would be best
but like c9h said..that breaking point matters for cows etc..

Jah doesn't work in PvP.

almost right, eth reverses your defense, I.E. if i had 10K defense, with eth i have negative 2500 defense.



And don't jah it, once your lvl 81, with maxed sword mastery and ww(or another attack), add in the ar from gf. You'll hit nough.

Sheal or ed/ias jewel is the best socket.
