I always loved the Mario games, #3 in particular.

OMFG I love this thread! My absolute favorite game for any console is Shadowgate, which is for the NES Up until recently, my avatar was dedicated to it, and if you click on my homepage, it is (currently) the theme of the game.

so.. obviously.. Shadowgate tops my list.. followed by

Zelda (the first one)
Solstice
Castlevania
Super Mario Brothers
Fire n' Ice
Master Blaster
Megaman
Megaman 2
Megaman 3 (get the idea? I beat them all so I'll stop here)
Willow (it had an interesting medieval feel to it.. although it was hard as hell)
Spy vs Spy (2 player mode)
Princess Tomato (great rpg/puzzle type deal)

I beat Solstice.. although it took forever and a year. That game is wicked hard, but worth it. The end movie is really cool when you get the last piece of staff and uber-rape the warlock. The only 2 games on that list I never beat are Castlevania and Willow. I got really close to the end of Castelvania and gave up, and Willow is just.. hard. Really hard. Like Zelda except it requires skill

Zelda and Final Fantasy 1. I also think that Mother was on the NES, in japan though. Mother is the very first Earthbound game, for any of you who know what I am talking about. I did not play the Snes Much, but any Super Mario Gaes for it also rocked back in the day.

Someone wasn't at the start.

Just get Zsnes 1.36. It works better then most emulators for the SNES, and it has a speed-up button too. (Making games considerably shorter as far as time-consuming goes.)

That's what I have. It isn't the emulator, it's the rom :-/ I can't find a working Earthbound rom, they all suck just as much. Plus I can't even find one where the buttons work right.. I am to assume every site just has the same rom.

I like.... liked Ice Climbers... Yeah. I like them in SSBM too. >_> I am IC fan!

I also liked the FF, MM, and stuff games. I didnt get into Zelda til SNES. Anyway yeah.
