Its under triggers, map intilazation. Either edit the one already there or delete it and make your own.

Yeah, just edit it and chance the starting gold to whatever you want. You can also do the same with lumber by just copying the trigger but making it give lumber. PM me if you have any more newbie questions!

As ive said many a time, to all newbies who read this thread, look at lots of maps that are unprotected and see the triggers. Never unprotect if you are newbie because it will not help you, and youll just come to the forum complaining that the triggers dont show up.

Looking at other maps is a good idea if you're looking for something specific but other than that, I suggest mostly trial and error as Garthrs said

variables.. lol they arnt as easy as the "switches" in SC. hahaha you wont belive how long it took me to figure them out, but yea the variables are better to use.... it seems to work alot better with the triggers, in stead of going threw so much to say... find a unit that you want to apply the triggers for... just take a unit variable.... set the variable to the specific unit, then use the variable from there on out.

Think of variables as boxes of information at a supermarket. A box can only hold a certain type of item but if there are many of that item made then it can hold each and every one of them, and they are never the same.

Ripping triggers is better, trust me. Even n00b TD maps come in useful (how NOT to handle a trigger).
