Gold Bug??

This was a new thing that I saw today. The guy mad a room called Get Wealthy and claimed that he knew an "Infinate Gold" bug in the expansion and just kept walking back and forth between charsi and gheed and dropping about 200k gold each time. He's asking 4 high lvl runes and such. Has anyone else seen this happen? I'm pretty sure its a scam but I didn't know right off because I've never seen it before.

how many piles he drop and about lvl of the char,i can fill a char up with gold botting,mfing,or that gold exploit kinda fast.if he dropped more than 2.6ish mill (lol) then he may have dun something cause i think i can get 2.5 mill stashed and 99k invetory

The guy dropped about 100-200 K each time,(about 5-10 piles of 22 K apiece) from when I got there I picked up about 1.5 Mil and he was still dropping more. He was Lv 84. I apologise for the 2X post, I'm not sure how it happened

i know how to do it. you get a item with +max damage based on char level, then you equip it, go talk to a npc and CLICK THE SELL BUTTON, you can NOT click and drag to sell it, and of course, sell it, but make sure there is enuf room in the npc stash that you can buy it back. So then you buy it back, equip it, click the sell button, sell it, buy it back, repeat. You can always sell the item for more then you can buy the item.

i dont know, does it have +max damage based on char level? if it does, then you can.

it does +max 'defense' based on char level? does that work instead of 'damage'
