If it was cheaper how did it not win the sales war?Couple reasons.
First off they both outputed in same resolution but HDDVD was cheaper.
HD DVD was better. Blu-ray was unnecessarily more complex.

its a matter of taste. For me i dont really care but going to a better picture isnt too bad of an idea
It's just me, but the quality of DVD is good enough for me. Ideally, you need an expensive system to enjoy either format, but I like my laptop.*
