Getting weird lag can someone help!?

Well i get this on and off type of lagg never goes away does anyone no y i try to ignor it but it is really maiking me die alot

i had tat b4....
all i did is defrag and delete all online and offline fils and history....
i dont know if tats what fixed it but mine works fine know.

were/are you running any background programs such as virus scanners or something odd like that? you could also try turning off the music from the esc--> options in game feature

Or you can run d2 in windowed mode,it usually cuts the lag down.

right click d2 icon,and add -w on the "target" part.

yea good call jim however some people don't like to play on the smaller screen but its all just personal preference

since last week i have had a new lag issue pop up suddenly for me as well.



anytime i go to one of the inventory screens (whether i am trading/stash etc) i get massive lag spikes. ping climbs into the thousands....its reallybeginning to hamper me. will reinstall d2 later.
