Ok, I do MF runs for all the great places [thanks to the people who put together the MF list in the stickies] with 2 chars with over 300 MF each. I find some nice things but it takes a lot of time.

I don't use a bot. Had some friends that got busted so that's out.

But since SOJs are the mainstay of the market, what are people trading the most for SOJs?

Are keys/organs really a great way to get SOJs?

Anyone have any special way to get SOJs/items other than MFing?

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks buggers,

I do countess runs but never really get anything to brag about :/

I do the run more for the key than the rune.

This applies to ladder:

well i have no clue how rich/poor you are but over 300 mf is a good start.
first you have to mf hell meph (i usually just concentrate on hell meph when im starting out)
soon enough you'll find some decent items (decent enough to let you survive in hell with relative ease).
now, when you're doing these runs, you SHOULD be able to get some good drops and these drops should be traded for runes.
start collecting ist runes or whatever the currency is. collect enough to get an enigma.

once you have enigma, start building a hammerdin.
in theory, if you're good enough to get enigma, the rest of his gear shouldnt be too hard to get (except for the cta/sojs/maras or whatever)
now start collecting for a 5bo cta (6 is nice, but way more expensive) and HOTO (use wiz spike for now). after you get cta, you will probably have nice stuff everywhere else (hoz, sojs, maras and such)
make sure you build up your hammerdin to a nice high level (around 80) and start mfing away at eldrich/shenk/meph/baal/andy/pindle and maybe pit/cows (all in hell of course)

when you get bored of mfing (because you dont have a bot thanks to warden) start doing some "rush for forge" runs in hell. these will really bag you the cash.

i myself never found many sojs when i played (last ladder season). just trade for them.

oh yea, after you get ideal gear and such, start collecting your charms (pcombats w/ life, anni, torch)

well that also depends on your gear, but usually, level 70 is enough. you dont really have to be very high level since there's the moat trick and all.

Easist way I have found to "get rich" is to key hunt, then get the organs and trade those, for HR's or gear that you need. Of course with each game of key hunts do, pindle, meph, cows, pits. If you do this 75% of the time you are online, you will be on your way to trumpdom (as my friend calls it)

Also, when trading trade for profit. Go to a chat room and scan the rooms for some idiot that is selling something extremely cheap. For example, Sorc skill charm for a Ral Rune (Yes I have seen this). Even if you don't need the item you can turn around and sell it again for profit. Their is always someone who needs something so damn bad, they don't care, or dont know what it is actually worth. Alot of times playing really late at night (3am - 6am) can offer you the drunk idiots that will think they are getting the bargin, when in fact they are ripping themselves off.

This to me is the easiest way to get rich. Try it, if anything else, you will lvl a bit.
Oh and Individual was correct in getting a Hammerdin to do your MF. They are the best with the right gear. Reason being the Magical Damage from the hammers means no immunes. That is a huge advantage.
