Anyone know how to use Sockscap as far as setting the Sockserver up and such. Also , does anyone know any other ways of changing ip address other than contacting the company. Thanks

those sometimes do not work and if you have a static ip, you're stuck with a r/d for a while.

other wise reconnect to ur isp if u have dial up and if u have dsl, unplug your modem for 5 mins and then plug it back in.

for cable (a tedius process but). ok make sure the computer you are using is plugged directly into the modem. *check* Alright then open a command promt by going to the "run" option in the start up menu and typing "command". *check* Then type "ipconfig" (without the "") this is just a reminder of what your IP was when you had your realm down. *check* and finally type "ipconfig/release" (wait for maybe 30 mins) then type "ipconfig/renew" and pray that your IP changes, if not try again. (I only recommend this for people that have ENDLESS realm downs (the ones that last hours instead of minutes). A couple things to remember: This is NOT 100% effective, this will NOT work if the computer you are using is plugged into a router (must be directly connected to a modem) and this does NOT work with MACs (as far as I know).
