Getting Logged Out? LOOK HERE!!

Many people have complained of having to login every time they visit the site. This is becuase of one simple reason. Vb2 cookies are totally different than vb3 cookies. And for some reason they do not work well together. If you had cookies from vb2 on your machine then the vb3 cookies will not store your information correctly. The simple way to fix this is to clear you cookies.

To do so in Internet Explorer:
Tools > Internet Options > General Tab > Delete cookies


To do this in FireFox :
Tools > Options > Privacy > Clear cookies

NOTE:
Clearing your cookies will cause all sites cookies to be removed. this means you will have to login again on other forums as well.

To delete only battleforums cookies:

C:\Documents and Settings\{your name }\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

And delete the file named:
Cookies:{name}@battleforums.com

Where E: is your primary hard drive or partition you use for your OS.

Also, on 98SE and earlier, this is in C:\WINDOWS\Cookies and/or C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files.
