Getting conviction aura on a merc?

Does anyone have a way to get conviction aura on a merc? even if it could just take cold immunes down to whatever 90% resistances a 120% cold peirce could get through. if not would a paladan help me out in diablo in hell with convict aura i got rushed to act 5 but i havn't done like any quests and i would like to do them... *j3zt3r in game

u CANT DAMAGE COLD IMMUNES WITH ANY COLD ATTACKS! god damn u newbs. the only thing that u can do to cold immunes is make them frozen with cold aura

ok...you obviously don't know what your talking about a conviction aura takes immunities off of monsters you DUMB SHIT GO MAKE A FOH PALADAN

No item/Merc on Closed can get that, only a pally could..

meh damn to bad for me....anyone know if lightning sorcs can do pindle/shrek/third unique in frigid highland runs without ever running in to immunes?

Impossible for Pindle, he immune to any kind of element.

Most of the time its

1.Cold
2.Fire
3.Lighthing

That my scale of him being immune..

actuly in the 100 or so hell runs ive done of pindle only 20 or so of them he was cold immune (and i'm a blizzerd sorc so that was a major problem) i guess really the only class that can get away with runs for all three (although the simi-tight tunnel would be tricky, is hammerdans or maby bone necro's... i guess a wind druid could get away with it to though...

just get a frozen merc, and get an awesome polearm and shit and ur fine to kill anything... as long as u dont run into a whatever-element-you-are and physical immune monster :-\

pindle as far as i know is never physical immune although i think shrek is level 86 in hell and pindle is 85 its not going to make a insane difference

i recomend just the simple barb merc...they tank with the best of em
