hello bf, haven't been here or made a thread here in a while. i'm not sure if there are alot of college bound students or college students for that matter. i dont know.

any spring quarter came to a close. spring 2007 just ended for many college students including me and me majoring in microbiology got totally ****ing pwned. like i was doing half assed and average in my first year. i thought i was a lil lazy and could do better this year but long story short, this wasn't the case

so there's this class called organic chemistry. the first class i didn't too well but i passed. this one i didn't pass, i got a D. which totally ****s me. i need to retake it before i coudl go on. (i prolly shoudl retake even if i'm not gonna major in science anymore) and i'm pretty damn sure i studied quite hard for it or at least i did dedicate quite some time into it but yet i just couldn't memorize and understand all the concepts within the 10 weeks...

i'm thinking abou tgetting out of the sicences. i know i'm a decent writer (this post prolly doesn't show that but w/e)
i know i dont want to major in english or philosophy and probably not art (cuz you need a portfolio and I obviously dont have one). i was thinking of double majoring. one major in econ and the other i dunno yet.

anyone know what you culd do with a liberal arts major like history etc or public policy?
any suggestions. college ****s with you. i wasn't such a bad student back in high school and i'm no slacker but somehow science escapes me and i'm pretty sure i wont make it as a doctor/pharmacist/dentist. damn pre-meds, gotta respect them....not a chance.

The most important and interesting social sciences/humanities field is philosophy. But you wont get any job out of it. The only field in humanities where you're learn a decent marketable skill is Law, so if you're in this for the money, and who isnt, go there.

Or at least, if you're like me, plan on ending up there eventually. I've got 12 courses left in Political Science, then I'll hopefully have the grades to enter Law school in Europe next summer.

But when you're already at university, its terribly more difficult to enter Law school than if you're comming straight from college or highschool, because the competition is unbelievably tougher.

If you're interested in a liberal arts degree, it's pretty much a given that the most lucrative fields are business and law.

If you want to go to law school, you can do pretty much anything you want. YOur major doesn't really matter, and most professional programs are looking to diversify the type of BAs or BSs they matriculate.

Business school is a little different, it's pretty formulaic, and if you're like me, you despise econ, so it might or might not be for you.

Just out of curiosity, where do you go to school, epidemic?
