Maybe if we get enough helpful tips in here, it could get a sticky.
Tip 1. Upgrade building defenses.
I can't stress this enough. Upgrade em, it may seem pointless but its not. Your burrows will get ruined and bam your screwed, you've got a huge army and no food, and even more screwed if your low on gold and lumber.
Tip 2. Use Purge
Ive found that purge can be very helpful. I don't know if its the new patch, but it is. It slows them down real good. Helps alot when being harassed, or trying to get that last hit in. Another thing purge is good for you is it removes all the buffs from a target.
Tip 3. Use Bats When Against Air
Do not bother building 3 barracks and getting tons of berserker's. Berserker's are a nice touch, but bats get the job done.
Tip 4. What To Use For Siege
Bats with fire are perfect for siege, and demolisher's are great too. Try out raiders too, they have some nice damage against buildings.
Tip 5. Different Ways to Harass
There is a couple different ways to harass for orc. You can use the Blademaster on windwalk with boots of speed, and go into his base and kill all his peons, that trick can be a pain in the ass for the opponet. Also I nice way to harass is bats and wyverns. Bats are great with the liquid fire upgrade. If you dob't know what this does, it makes them do more damage on buildings. It also gives it a flame attack, so when your attacking it will be one fire, and that does a little extra. You can also farseer harasss, with wolves, but be careful because your farseer isnt the strongest hero.
Tip 6. Try All the Different Spells
Im talking about like for your units, like shamans, witch doctors, etc.. Do not just get them for healing wards and blood lust, the other moves arnt there for looks. When using witch doctors, use Sentry Wards, there only like 50 mana, and like i said with the shamans, use purge.
Tip 7. When Going Taurens
When your going taurens use spirit walkers. They will bring your taurens up from the dead, they can also use spirit link, which isnt a bad move ethier.
Tip 8. Never Go One Unit
Never choose one type of unit, and mass it. Especially with grunts, you will also need extra stuff like shamans for blood lust, and anti-air. Things like that, orc is the perfect race for mixing units.
Tip 9. When Using Raiders
Always upgrade pillage. If your going to do the raider siege trick do not forget to upgrade that. It gives you money when you attack enemy buildings. Also have a back up plan because that plan can screw up so easily.
Tip 10. How To Keep Your Shadow Hunter Alive
Does your shadow hunter always get killed? Then make sure you upgrade healing wave, because that heals him too. Get shamans with purge, to slow the enemy when your trying to get your shadow hunter out of the battle. From time to time you might want to pick up an invulnerability potion, to keep him alive,
Tip 11. Tower Rushing
Always bring 2-3 peons with you. Do not do this with just peons, have some units down with you. Build like 2 towers in the back for back ups, and then slowly move in, and you will have your army there to back you up.
