Gateway problem ...again

ok..like before if you read my thread, my gateways are not usual..one is brutal sumthing..i got info to reinstall and deleting the D2 file.which i did and reinstalled successfully and now the gateways are still a mess..so if you have sum alternate solution and/or info that might be useful i would greatly appreciate it

I might have a solution wich I am testing...
it's deleting the resgisters and re-installing D2...

I'll tell you if it works...or crash the whole computer;P

It works!
takes less than a minute!
it doesn't need any re-installation!!!


step 1 - start regedit (default is c:\windows\)
step 2 - make a search for "Battle.net"
step 3 - delete ANY bnet related file (anything found)
step 4 - dance around while carrying a poodle.............

it worked for me, but step 4 is optionnal

hope it works for you!

lol, light_bringer777's method is pretti good, why didn't u say it be4? damn...den i wudn't hafta go thru da pain of your step 4 over and over.....i formatted my computer >< hahahaha, ^^ hehehe....anywayz, if his idea dun work, format ur drive, it alwayz work...hehehe

lol bakfed..i just found another way..system restore..and since u have XP i know for a fact u got it...just lok around in ur accessories and u should find it..it basically sets everything back just like it was on a previous check points..and its faster and less painful then reformatting and loading ur OS again..
