GameCube one of the toughest consoles

On X Play a really mediocre show. They had a test were they beat the consoles by smashing them with a sledge hammer, dropped them, and dropped a 20 pound weight on them. The ps2 went out first Xbox last and the GameCube won! It turned on even after all this.

Well the first time the Xbox went out because the front panel popped off. Not sure about the 2nd time... Yeah I thought it to be pretty funny too.

Well the classics are still grand. I love being able to play mario and zelda titles that I've been playing since I was 8.

the problem is, gamecube does not have a good game selection. All the good games fro GC are either nintendo brand, nintnedo characters redone, or games on other consoles.

GC would be better than PS2 if it had the games

Game Cube is a great console. The problem is that the games aren't that great. They are either too childish (thus too easy ), or too small :-/

yeah most nintendo games either are extremely hard, because of annoying things like puzzles/jumping puzzles, or so easy they can be beat in one sitting in >1 hour

Oh well, the Xbox might not be the strongest system (big loss). But it makes up for it in games, gameplay, and graphics. Damn them who smashed up the Xbox! The final test for the gamecube would be to plug it in then turn it on, then to throw it, and the people who smshed up the Xbox into a bathtub.

That's kind of stupid..... One wants good games on a console, not use it to hit one's siblings.....

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised that GC is the toughest console. It's compact with a good casing, so things are less likely to fall out. And Nintendo makes good quality consoles, I have to admit.*
