Frenzy question

im making a frenzy barb and was wondering whats better for it:
1. a fast attacking but less damage weapon or a...
2. slow attack but more damage weapon because....

when i use double swing with falchions(slow attack speed) and double swing with longswords(fast attack speed) i noticed that when u use double swing your 'double swing' animation is the same for ALL weapons, just the time from 1 double swing from the other is different. so i think i should plan on getting my barb a slower attacking weapon or something....

btw whats the best merc for me?

the animation stays the same/similiar but the difference in speed is still in fact in effect. its like when u shapshifter (druid) the animation stays the same and in fact it looks like you are moving slower than in normal form.



so the answer to your question is choose the weapons you like, the speeds match what the items say.

I'd go slower speed, whats the speed though? Slow? Normal? Very Slow?

and if you have IAS gloves and ammy, problem solved.
