Freezing Bowadin PvP ???

Hi,
Anyways, i remember seeing minnys bowadin strat which was basically:
Max freezing aura and synergies
Use widow maker (+3-5 guided arrow)

So i tried that out on my sucky Frozen Aura pally/mule... and i did about 1.4k dmg, but the pvp dmg sucked because of the 1.10 patch.... So im wondering is it worth making it and getting all the nightwing shit and all the cold facets? im not sure if it would make that big of a difference....

i'd say gofor ed/ias/max jewels instead of coldfacet..... cuz freeze aura just slows down your enemy in pvp.... also try going for +skills as well

Well i know, but there is a .17 dmg reduction in pvp, but im not sure if it takes off .17 of ur dmg or it brings it downt o .17 IM SO CONFUSED... and also i would need the cold facets because freezing aura would be my main dmg, cuz normal dmg with widow makers is about 100-300 dmg...

Yeah i know that, i use the arreat summit when confering to items skills etc etc. but whats to read?When maxed out w/ith synergies it does about +1k to ur normal dmg and even if i did get all those ed jewels and stuff it would still be low dmg in dueling i wuold be the equivelent to a low lvl zon, thats why frozen aura makes the difference and why im wondering about the ice items..

Holy Freeze adds cold damage, correct?

Cold facets + cold dmg gear adds to that cold damage, correct?

I don't think it would be a viable build because A) Most people wear Raven's, and B) you can't use Fanaticism so speed + Damage is lowered. You can try, but from what I've read/heard about these, they aren't good all-around characters.

I'm confused..I thought Holy Freeze still worked if you had ravens on? If not then how come my zon was getting frozen with a raven on and the only cold around was a monster with HF aura?

i think the freeze on hf is slow,not freeeze,i think the dmg is cold dmg but the slow is slow

Holy Freeze aura makes cold damage, adds cold damage to attacks, and slows enemies in its range.

Cold damage can be resisted / absorbed, but "cannot be frozen" mod does not affect Holy Freeze.
