If possible, get a rush (with a mule) to act 3 to make the Kahlim's flail. Or simply ask someone to get you one. This is the best beginner weapon their is. No restrictions on level or stats, and will kill everthing but bosses with 1 or 2 shots easy.

The hellforge hammer is also good, and the Malus.

Yeah, Ive tried this before, but using a Hellforge Hammer, malus just sucks, and Khalims is pretty hard to get kinda...

I personally choose to go with Khalims just because its earlier in the game to get. The hammer is actually better in damage but that means you need to kill the Hellforge which if your just starting out might take sometime.

Actually now that I think of it, doesnt Hellforge have a str restriction? I'm probably wrong I will check on that.
