For the love of god someone help me

i just started a playing diablo again and i'm making a fireclaw druid for the first time.
i just found a 1 to elemental skills GC with 8 to life and i was quite happy about it, however when i equip it i don't get any synergy bonuses to my fireclaw damage...

also, what is this piece of crap going for now?
the only use i have for a sorceress is as a mule.

you only get synergys for points that you actually invest in skills, you dont get anything skill points from plus skill items...

then why do i get a synergy bonus from my +2 to fire skills sword, and +2 to all skills amulet?

the mods would have to be here for me to worry about it.
i gave them 3 days... not 1 of the 3 mods made it into their section to help me, i don't think i'm the one that should get into trouble.

Isn't fireclaw considered as fire skill?

If it is, then 2 to fire skills, and # to all skills items work for fireclaw, since

they both increase fireclaw's lvl. and like BlueCheeseKilla said, you only get

synergy bonus from your actual skill pts that you put in. Ele Gc will just

increase elemental dmg, so it means that it's not going to increase any other

skills' dmg. If item's skills are specified, for example: 3 to hurricane rare

totemic mask, it will only increase hurricane's dmg, not tornado unless it

gives 2 to druid skills which will effect ALL druid's skills dmg. I don't know

what i'm saying, i'm not really good at expressing my ideas. anyway, I hope

this helped.

P.S. - Occy doesn't worth that much these days, maybe a soj or lower, not

sure.

i got jalals mane, lightsabre(shaeled), 3 amn runes and Darkglow armour.. not too bad, i really did need jalals, and lightsabre works well with my fireclaw druid.

What everyone forgot to mention is in 1.10 their are lots of fire immunes in hell level. Aslo Fire claw is technically considered a changling skill, not summon, or elemental skill. Lastly the modorators are not here to primarily answer every new post, they are here to moderate, and make sure everything is within the guide lines of the rules.

If you want a good guide for any character look in the builds section. Try a fury/rabies wolf they are really good.
