I saw Vista among the top 10 suggestions. CRASH N BURN!

Serenity is the obvious winner here. Maybe they'll tape a picture of Nathan Fillion on it?

Or...not?

Don't see why a show that didn't even last a season who got a movie deal which in turn the BrownCoats couldn't even support and it flopped horribly should have anything to do with Nasa or any real space exploration.

I'd much rather vote for something like a Star Trek name over Serenity. Even though, ya know, I doubt they even had Firefly or Joss Whedon in mind when they decided to use Serenity.

The amount of passion Browncoats have for the series rivals that of much more popular series..

Yeah, and through the failed series with rofl raitings, as well as the movie that flopped out the ass, rabid fans or not your numbers clearly can't handle supporting the show/movie/series, which means it's a tiny population. Having them name it Serenity if it were based on Firefly would be a disgrace.

Not for us it wouldn't, for us it'd be great. Seriously though, its a well written show with good acting and an interesting story, whats not to like? It draws you in well. The movie was alright, not as great as the series but alright.

The TV series suffered from some extremely poor handling by fox, bad hours and even than often being replaced by a sporting event. The episodes weren't even aired in the order they were meant to be aired in so that causes problems.

And that relates to how the Movie was a complete and total flop? Even Joss Whedon himself called out the Browncoats after the second weekend of Serenity being opened in theaters and how there wasn't enough support for it.

I'm not saying it's a bad show or anything, I'm just saying it's such a niche show that it shouldn't become a part of our space program. One of the Star Trek's? Sure. Something from Star Wars? Of course. Something from a 3rd rate sci-fi show that didn't even last the full season? God no.

I wasn't even a fan when the movie came out. Never had heard of it before that. Pretty sure thats where the problem was.

Honestly the space program is kind of a joke now anyways so no big deal amirite?
