For People Who Have Guedit, Try This!

Try this people. Unfortunately I can't because I still can't get mine to work.


-Start a new map
-Use Guedit create a huge part of the map with the purple creep terrain.
-Put a drone and other stuff that are need to build a creep colony.
-Save the map.
-Then go on Single Player and see if you can build a creep colony with the Purple creep terrain. If you could, that would be the big jump in sunken/spore/zerg defense maps. If it's not possible to build zerg buildings on the creep terrain, then CRAP!

Nah, man I tried it. It was a cool idea but it doesn't work. You can build a hatchery on but it messes up the creep. It doesn't work, your right, that sucks.

nice try man, but i have discovered smething cool!

There is a file in the guedit directory which has PICTURES of every peice of terrain, you can edit and put your own .bmp/.gif/.jpeg pics by converting into the file with a program or two, now THAT IS COOL!

File in guedit directory with has pictures?
I don't seem to understand that part. I remember I extracting it once and getting like over 20 files in the guedit directory but I deleted it.

tassadar if you have successfully done this i would like to see your map and again i don't wan't to have any mpq files changed

awww i guess i can't show it then, im having problems with the map loading correctly in starcraft... i edited my starcraft file to use the new pics, but now for all maps it uses these edited pics .

Hmm i think my discovery is not a good one.
