first of all, post counts, don't matter worth shit, you can change your title in user cp/edit profile

well now it does, your avatar may have sped up because its smaller, if you resized it, cause you said it ws too big

well if its a bmp (bitmap) you can use paint or a few other progs. none come to mind, but i know there are some
