how do i keep losing, its hard to know what heros are good with what items and when to tech. i realy never end up with the same hero when i choose random hero, but the easy heros are arch mage and blood mage they can get you tons of gold if u cast their spells at the right time. whats a good hero i can choose without sucking with it?

use random hero's

any hero can be good, just need to have good skills and good partners

the blademaster is a great hero killer, with 6 claws of +20 and a maxed out crit strike, he can do 500 or so a hit.

its pwn.

1) Use random heroes
2) Don't allow people to tech, do this by getting scepter of shockwaves
3) Get the difference between Customs and Strategies, one is for custom games the other is for MELEE strategies.
4) Play with friends (works)
5) That footmen frenzy is rigged!

Pit Lord is fun too, Claws of Ultimate Devastation + lvl 6 Cleave. That hurts!

anyone in 3vs3 tried triple lich maxed out death and decay while using invul potion? One word it owns

Try Bloodlusting a Tank with Jaood (You can find these under "Tank Tokens" in the Personal Shop)

tech grunts in the beginning too :p

then, get a group of them together, and run around and hero kill (or in early game, surround heroes and maek them tp)

About orc, don't get headhunters. They aren't as good as you think! When you hit 3400 at Grunts, tech up to raiders.

Grunts are ****ing imbalance now. Whenever I see someone with 3/0 grunts at the beginning I backstab my teammates and suicide.

hero has nothing to do with you losing, its how you control and upgrade your footmen/whatever

whenever theres a mass battle, enter last

at start save gold to upgrade men and always have someone in yuor group of 3 tech (very important)

if you strive for money and you know another team is still at tech 1 buy a shockwave and take and many guy in their base (night elves are easiest)

try these but never buy hero items until your tech lvl 4

Alright, one guy techs grunts. Grunts now have 725 HP and do 31-34 at Level 0 weapons with 2 armor at level 0 armor. Then with the second or third person, have them get random heroes.

If you have 2 guys: The techer gets a hero at 1900 gold. With 3/3 or 4/2 grunts, that should be no problem

If you have 3: Tech without hero. Getting 3 heroes total would share the experience too much.

If you need a second hero, get something that supports either yourself or your allies. Some include:

Paladin, Death Knight (if your first was undead), KOTG, Dark Ranger or any other hero that can heal or help you turn the tides in battle. Especially silence at level 5+.

Also, Fallen Paladin has a point. Enter the battle last so that you don't get sandwiched and have to waste a tp to get out. And don't be hero hungry *cough* Greg *cough*, although heroes are 260+ gold each, the footmen at the time are about 20 per pop and cannot TELEPORT!!! And in 10 easy kills, you get the gold that you would get for killing a hero. Get heroes when you know you can kill them!

get archmage, tech to 4 night elf then mass upgrade your attack + range with a few points in def then just mass tele around the map and cast blizzard on whoever tries to attack you. most annoying strategy ever 0,0

If you got Avalanche problems, here are some tricks I have learned on my travels:

Blood Mage - Banish + Level 6 Flame Strike (keep him pinned some how)
Demolisher - Attack
Alchemist - Acid Bomb (may sound strange but -20 armor is no joke!)
Halpmeh - Tich Meh Armorz (- armor)
Ravage/KOTG - Roots
Dark Ranger - Silence (he cannot escape or attack)
Demon Hunter - Meta (Chaos does full to Avalanche)
Pit Lord - Cleaving Attack + Claws of ult (doing 500+ is no joke),
Bill Kamazier - Call of the Gods (kills himself though).

You must kill him before he hits level 6 or when his auras get too powerful!

UD tech is nice, but few people abuse slam. :(

Teching can be halted by a combination of AoE, Demo and Sockwave Scepters. The trick is to keep your Demo alive, get good shockwave shots, and utilize any AoE you're lucky enough to get. Random is nice, but if you really wan't to win, just pick an AoE hero if someone techs. Sounds noobish but picking is harder then most people come to think it is.
