This will add to the cell phone traffic of the world making services operate less efficiantly.
Somewhere on some street corner will be a man and a woman coddleing their cell phone sweety, complaining about how nobody will go out with them, when all they'de have to do is turn off the phone, turn their head and say "Hi".
Somewhere there will be people that take this to an ultimate extreme and spend all of their money on gifts to the point of starvation or crime just to keep the dream going.
