My first mf sorc i have ever made is at lvl 69. Got some decent gear, then some really crappy stuff. Str at 105, Dex at 50, Vit at around 160, and enr round 150.
Life 600 and mana 500. Why can i barely beat nm baal to find some decent stuff, do i need lvl more? O ya, im a blizz sorc, it can do 2.5 k AND i only got like 200% mf, which i hate, help me

Well you started on the rigth track, but a mistake was putting points into energy, despite what some think sorcs don't need it. Second where are the rest of your points gone? A blizz sorc would need

Static Field
Max Blizzard
Max Cold Mastery
Shiver armor

Those are the basics and with those most sorc's are safe on any kind of run. 200% mf is good, so don't worry about that, but keep the number 422 in mind because at 422% mf you get the best items. I'd know I had it on my sorc. But seriously 200% mf isn't that bad.

Your main problem is probabbly your fhr (faster hit recovery) being to low, or your FCR (faster cast rate) is to low. Get more of the two of these and you should be set. Also practice makes perfect, everyone has their own style, I personally zip around with teleport and pop off a few fireballs with my fire sorc. They can't hit what they can't see ;)

Goodluck with the MFing, if this didn't help post back and tell me what kind of gear your using because that could also have something to do with it.

422? what the heck does 422 have to do with anything? 423 has better chances than 422, lol. It's a progressive thing... I will say that 200% mf can find perfectly fine items, though, with much better chances than 0% and not too much worse than 400's and stuff. Eventually, you will want to get your mf above 300 or 350 or so, ONLY as long as it doesn't slow you down.

First off, if you are mfing baal after baal runs, if there are still people in the game, it may be harder a little... try mfing hell mephy, he is really easy because you can dodge his attacks easily. With no gear, he really is the only guy easy enough that you can consistantly kill without a problem that can drop good stuff.

422% is/was the set drop point for 1.10

I think it was 1234 in .09 and .08.. its just something blizzard puts in to give a little bit of an edge to people stupid enough to stumble upon it. Suposidly it guarantees a unique every time. I can vouch for that fact.. I always seemed to get uniques no matter what boss I killed.
