I Highly suggest this build be used for only MF to start with, due to the lack of full protection(I.E. ice armor(s)). If you wish to use this build for Dual MF/Duel, I suggest you try the build before attempted closed battle.net usage.

you only have 101 skill pnts put in

you will actually get * after ALL quests *

1 frm a1 ( all difficulties )
1 frm a2
2 frm a4
* prolly left one out, cant remember a5 or a3 well *

god i havent played d2 in a while but that comes out to at least 110 skill pnts

when your lvl 99 you will have 110 when your done with all the skill quests, but at 90, thats only 101

Okay, today I haven't had a chance to do anything with the build, but I will try and get around to it tommarrow.

BTW: Why is ene. a bad idea on a blizzard sorc? She has the high cost for FireBall, and the need for ene. for teleport. Why no ene?

Because your going to die in one hit with all those points wasted in energy. Just use +mana and +mana regen items.

I have a lev 80 fireball/Orb sorc that does well. Most points go into the fireball and syns since orb does well by itself at maxed level.

Shield1:Ryhme(none other shields in the items that I dl'ed)
Weap2:CTA: BO
Shield2:Spirit: +2 to skills
Ring1/2:SoJ: 50% extra mana
Gloves:Magefist: 25% FMR(faster mana regeneration)
Boots:MarrowWalk: +Str, +Dex

Life/Mana w/ gear:
Life:1008(w/o BO)
Mana:690(w/o BO)
Life:1546(w/ BO lvl 1)
Mana:896(w/ BO lvl 1)

Resists with gear:
Fire:73(w/ anni12%)
Cold:73(w/ anni12%)
Light:73(w/ anni12%)
Poison:73(w/ anni12%)

I highly suggest that with this build that you use an Nightmare/Hell Act 2 Defensive merc with a Infinity/Insight for his weapon.

Reasons for Merc weapons::
Infinity: lvl 12 Conviction aura when equipped, -85 enemy resists.
Insight: lvl 13-17 Meditation aura, 600-700% faster mana regain.

This build will not be updated for a while, I'm going on a trip tommarrow, and I will not be back to a computer until probably by next Wednesday.
