Finding a good editor

Well right now I use General Mengsks X-tra Editor and that I'm happy with that but what I'm not happy with is the fact that it doesnt let me open certain maps, Seige of Gondor being one of them as i want to fix that trigger that stops the dwarves from working properly. What map editor would I use to open these files? Thanks in advance.

My bet is those maps are protected. Map makers protect maps to prevent other people from stealing their map(claiming credit for making the map) and from creating different versions. There are programs that will protect your map from being open in an editor.

Ok thanks for that fortunately I downloaded a new SoG FIXED and everything works good on it.
