Final Fantasy ORPG Onion Set?

Yeah, so I've been playing this for an ungodly amount of time trying to get my friend the stupid onion set. So we got one of the things (greaves) by killing one of the demons, and I've gotten that one twice. How do you get them? I just found it kinda random...
And my guy is like lvl 230 or something, how can I get him better? He sucks again the demons (he's a ninja with two excaliburs).

The onion set pieces are randomly dropped items, so just keeptrying and sooner or later you will get the whole set.

Ummmm which version are you playing?

kinda an old one, a really old one I think. It's TheCorporals v1.8

Yea but I've only seen them dropped by the demons, I've never seen them anywhere else.

hmm, I must be dumb, how does this work. I try uploading it and it says the document contains no data. But I don't know, it says in the file name version 5.5, so itmight be higher?

Yeah, I found the map anyway at war3sear.ch."document contains no data" this means your connection timed out before it finished attaching.

well anyways, can you get them ANYWHERE when you kill ANYTHING? Because I've only seen them when I kill a Demon Commander, and only that. I've never seen one anywhere unless I kill one of them.

I think you only get them by killing some of the greater bosses, like the "dragon" in the bottom right corner and so on. And btw, if you want to become stronger I think the only way is to unlock Sephiroth by killing Kefka.

this might sound dumb but i can never load my guy. i have had a lvl 75 sam. and more. i just played for a long time and got a lvl 160 seph. anyone have any suggestions? i know i am typing the code in correctly. i have vista, would that have anything to do with it?
