Final Fantasy 7 in PS3?

me and my friend where debating over it, and also is it true that FF7 was actually banned from being sold in stores in the USA? ... seems strange if it is OP

It wasn't banned, some nutjobs decided to file a 5 billion dollar lawsuit because of violence, as running around planting bombs, murder and massacre etc.

First off, the rumors that even indicated there was a slight chance they were going to remake FF7 were sparked because of that stupid tech demo of FF7 scene rendered for the Ps3. Square has repeatedly denied the existence, or even the hint that it will exist at some point. So no, it won't be remade, and if it is, it won't be made any time soon for the PS3.

It's not it's fault though. FF7 is more of a symbolic thing; the launching of a new generation of video games. It's story pwned IMO :O.
