Fighting against hackers...

I really don't like hackers whatsoever and I can easily tell if one is around. When the game lags and their bar was low before beginning the game or if they don't share vision with you on a 7v1. Personally, I'm not at all keen on the hacking programs for one, get caught = ban, people can figure you out as easily as I can, you don't learn how to play the game right and that becomes blatantly clear to anyone looking at your performance.

Last night I beat two hackers (n00b hackers aamf). I set up a 20minute nr game on a fastest map. I built up enough resources to tide me away in case of an attack. I warped about 24 lots and went to check out their base. 5 minutes in the game they already had battle cruisers and wraiths. I decided to secretly rush them both. I made zealots out the ying yang and followed them up with dragoons and cannons on the corners. Sure enough, I found about 12 wraiths hovering over. I rushed them like a madman and they replied with, "WTF!? I thought it was 20 min no rush! Omg! ******! Bitch!".

I could tell he was a n00b by the way he built his base. Supply depots blocking his exit and minimal turrets. But he had a crapload of units at an unreasonably fast rate.

Anyone else have methods worth sharing?

hmmm, lets see. He DIDNT have defense but DID have offensive units, of course it was unreasonably fast. Maybe for some crazy reason, when he wasnt building defense he was...building offence!

There is no "good" way to fight back a hacker.
If they have MH, you're out of luck.
The best you can do is build a defense and have a mexican stand-off hoping their mom or dad kicks them off before you're kicked off.
Its worked plenty of times for me.
You cannot have any decent offensive because there is no suprise attack that goes a long with it.
The best you CAN do, is let them attack you over and over again, and if you're good enough just "absorb" their attacks and hope they give up.

Why would they need to scout or parasite your men when they have a maphack?

And yes, the BIGGEST skills is catching someone with their pants down. Suprise is a BIG skill, you shouldn't underrated it so.
Power is the cheapest skill, maxing out units? Where is the skill in that? Having suprise attack causes your enemy to painic and hopefully "mess up"

And so what if they can see you? Omg, must I explain? If they can that you built all air units, e.g. carriers. They could easily created air-to-air defense and quickly strip you down. Then after that once you've lost your masses, your door is wide open.

What I'm saying is if you lose just because they can see you, you suck hardcore. Any good player could see you anyways, via scouting and parasite. You guys are making it sound like if they can see you, it's impossible to win, so if they parasite your units you may as well just quit. Plus, you should be able to see their entire base using the same tactics. If they build counters for your units, build counters for their counters. If they are resorting to maphacks, chances are they suck anyways.

One of the public hacks out there already has a trojan in it, haha. So they are getting what they deserve. The only other maphack ive heard about is private and you have to pay $25 so, things are working out pretty okay for now.

About that Fastest map where he got BCs, it isn't entirely impossible to get them THAT early. Besides, i highly doubt it was 5 minutes in, you exaggerate and it was prolly about 10 minutes in.

um i can get bcs 5 mins in on a money map... its just fast tech. You forget that on money maps its very very easy to pull off quick units. Maxing out in 5 mins is hard, but just teching to bcs isnt.

The only way to beat hackers is to either...hack yourself (because blizzard doesn't give a shit about starcraft hackers) or rush them. Because past that they know where all your stuff is and your basically screwed. Its gay I know.
