Fight Club and Starcraft

Watching Fight Club on FX, I never noticed this before, but in the scene where whatever his name (not Brad Pitt, but the dude that made him up) is telling off his boss by saying he should be careful or someone might go around with a semi-automatic weapon and unload round after round into couleges, if you listen carefully, you can hear the exact music that is used for the Zerg De-Briefing Screen in Starcraft. Thought that was kinda neat.

There is a lot of StarCraft noises used in movies. In the movie 'The Medallion,' when Chan gets hit when he's being all superman fast, he makes a lot screaming noise that is the audio for clicking on an academy. There is also the Terran depriefing screen audio in the game Xenosaga. And these sounds aren't alike, they're definitely the exact same.

man you guys sure do listen closely to sc sounds. Maybe you just have amazing hearing and memories that kick you in the ass when you hear something youvre heard before, then your starcraft junkyness kicks in saying " its from starcraft and is the sound it makes every 13 zergling stikes on the twilight terran when standing on the "dirt" style terrain" lol.

Starcraft has some of the coolest music ever. I saw alot of movies that have it. A recent one was that movie that was online that talked about how the pentagon attack was faked had alot of starcraft music as well.

Like if you watch the movie carefully in the begining and freeze frame it at certain points, brad pit shows up a bunch on times before he even meets him.

And on a discovery channel show about ants and termits, they play the zerg music when showing the inside of the nest, with the little ****ers crawling around. Awesome !

Hate to tell you guys, but the screaming sound you get when you click on an academy is not original to Starcraft. They added the marching theme music but that sound is that of a Star Wars TIE fighter screaming through space, and has since been used for a multitude of sound effects. Watch the first movie a few dozen times, as I have, and you WILL hear that sound. The first time I clicked an academy, I recognized the noise. I love SC, but it rips off of so many other things. The Zerg and Protoss, for example, are clearly evolved versions of Alien and Predator. Think about it; even the Alien Queen's head looks like a hydralisk's.
