I cant ****ing beat that garik guy and his stupid ronso assholes. what should i do?

First of all take out garik first dont bother with the ronso's
second make sure to bring plenty of dispell tonics to get rid of his might guard a good set up that i used was one gunner one besrker and one white mage

Switch dsps? Use an sdsp? (though I can't remmember if you get an sdsp that early in the game)

Or just don't bother with the whole ronso thing, its a sidequest anyways... (though you do get a nice reward)

I beat garik with a black mage (**, as in 100%), a gunmage (with this REALLY nice guard spell I tricked a creature into casting at me somewhere), and i can't remmember what I used paine as...

(btw...if you're having trouble with that battle, which btw...is relatively early in the game...then you're REALLY going to have trouble later on...I suggest you go levelling a bit)

I've finished the game twice and missed that sidequest the first time i played it.
When i actually did the sidequest, i just so happened to be powerful enough to just attack the Ronso's then go for Garik last, i didn't even have to heal. :rolleyes

What i would do, is go and level up, use a Lure Bracer if you have one, that'd make it easier.

I used Rikku as Lady Luck, Yuna as Beserker and Paine as Alchemist.

Btw, i've almost got the ability 'Elixir' for Alchemist, well, not almost, i still need like 800 AP to get it. (You need 999 to get it and it's the last ability the Alchemist learns).

First game I played I killed him easily, the second time I tried I couldn't beat him. I forgot how to beat him but try to take out his guys first. Cast dispel whenever he uses Mighty Guard.

if your dark knight has Black rain it would be fairly effective it just sucks up so much MP

Renzokuken you lucky bastard i wasnt able to beat shinra in the sphere tournemt

You can still get the dsp, but shinra's easier in the tourny...(which is where I beat him)

oh, and that mp draining thing...well...its useless against bosses...just scan them and you'll see why for yourself...
