bare Minimum:
800 MHz Pentium III Processor
- Windows 98 or higher
- DirectX 8.1 or higher
- 128 MB of RAM
- 6.5 GB of Hard Drive Space
- CD Rom drive
- A 56k connection or greater
- An ATI card with at least 32 MB of Video RAM or a NVIDIA GeForce card with at least 32 MB of Video RAM.

PC Requirements (Recommended for full enjoyment)

- Pentium 4+
- Windows 98 or higher
- DirectX 8.1 or higher
- 256 MB of RAM
- 6.5 GB of Hard Drive Space
- Broadband type connection
- Video card with 64MB of Video RAM

It looks like you can play it well. Only thing you left out is your video card. I would get more ram if I was you, just because more ram is better! thoug hdepends on your budget.

If you have a 64 mb video card atleast, it sounds like you can play the game.

I wouldn't say he could play it well.. I would say it would be playable.

Buying RAM and a PCI video card would help a good deal, but you will still be bottlenecked by your processor. If anything try and get a new computer  .

Also, doesn't FF11 require a monthly fee?

I used to have 256 MB like you did, its ok but not ok in a laggy game. I suggest you get more phyiscal memory just to be safe.
