Whether you're Horde or Alliance, you have to have a favourite area to start in. For myself, i absolutely LOVE Coldridge Valley, Dun Morogh (Even though i play Horde).

Dun Morogh > rest because of it's proximity to IF and it's friendly to Miners and it's all tundra, and you can't beat tundra!

Human land. Forgot what it's called, but it owns. It's got such a fast curve for 1-20 too. Or used to.

Eh, you like Tundra because you never lived with snow, right?

Same with me, everything you said.

Elwynn Forest. Definetly. Stationed Close to Stormwind, and it's a great starting area overall.
Yeah, enough said.

I think Mulgore is the best. No tree's, not dark, open area. Yeah, Mulgore kicks ass.

As opposed to the undead starting place. I hate everything about it.

I personally hate mulgore because it is too big and everything is spread too far. What i loved about Brill and Goldshire was that you could do two to three quests at once in one small area and proceed to do other quests relatively closeby.

Definetly Elwynn Forest, quick start, close to Stormwind, alot of material droppers, alot of plants, 2 mines with various materials, as well as the scattered ones, plus very close to Westfall.
