Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12 bytes) in /var/www/BF3/includes/functions.php on line 348 it does this a lot when i use the search button but WTF DOES IT MEAN??? it pisses me offa lot...

Basically, as the thing says, the server ran out of memory to process your request.

The thing is, after we upgraded to vB3, we lost all the indexing, and we have to reindex the thing. If that is done, obviously our poor little server can't take it, and searching is one of the most memory-intensive operations.

What are you searching for? Try searching for stuff when there aren't so many people on.*

i was trying to find a thread about the ps2 discs witht he dual layers messing up-trying to help my friend out. anyway it does that just bout everytime i try to do any kind of search.

It does that when we do a lot of things. It's hard to find the time to shut down a forum of this size to run that type of maintenence though. We need to, but time is always tough. I'll talk to Cort about maybe schedualling some downtime after christmas when everyone is too busy for us anyway.

Oh, and your grayish green font is really hard to see...I suggest if you want my assisstance you should realize that colorizing your font is a waste of time.

wow.. it ads like 1 second to my posting time
ill get rid of it after a while- it just kinda matches with my sig colors a little bit. when i get bored of the coheed and cambria sig and ava ill find some other band/subject to be used and ill change the font according to whatever my sig or ava will be at that time.
