I was wondering how many of people playing games and posting on battle forums is also interested in fantasy.

Do you read fantasy books?
If so what kind of fantasy?

I like to read a lot. My favourites are Tolkien and Pratchett, but right now I'm reading some of the Jordans' early Wheel of Time books...

Pratchett owns. Anne McCaffrey is good... JK Rowling is decent... Most of the others that I read are sci-fi rather than fantasy, though. DragonLance... Hmm, nope, no others.

I've read just about all the forgotten realms books (can't find Evermeet: island of the elves anywhere...), some of the dragon lance books, most of Terry Brook's shannara stuff, a bit of David Gemmel's stuff, a bit of Clive Barker, and of course, lotr.

(If thats the sort of fantasy you're referring to)

Hey, that is exactly what I was thinking about! :)

Although I am surprised that only one person mentioned Pratchett... I love his books :) There is nothing like a good Pratchett humor if you're depressed ;)

My another question would be - is there anyone who has ever made a website about the fantasy world from any of the mentioned series?

Yeah, Tolkein's books are awesome. I once stayed up all night reading one. (Well not all night.)

I was like that with Frank Herbert's Dune series, and the Count of Monte Cristo.... that was insane, I was so tired for school the next day.

Probably not...
