Downloading it is a bitch. So many bugs/hotfixes and other stuff you gotta work out. Took me all day to get it working, but man, so far it's definitely worth it. Loving it so far :D

I was thinking about getting it, is it worth it?
for 360? Yeah. If your getting it for PC, id reccomend waiting untill they release an official patch to fix all the bugs/crashes.

its fun. Blowing heads off with scoped magnum feels great.

i hope someone adds tanks or something awesome like that with a mod. Or maybe horses. A mount in the wasteland or bike or something like that would have been pretty sweet, even if it takes a long ass quest chain to get.

Yeah my only beef with it is that i have to "run" (I swear he's barely jogging) everywhere. I want a vehicle! Or a two-headed cow to ride, anything!

My 7900GT/GTO is a piece of crap, i put it up to high with some AA and it runs fine but the silly card overheats so quickly (I got it third-hand). Can't wait to get my friends 8600GS (Almost brand new) for $20.

the fast travel makes everything feel a lot smaller. Do what I did and find as many locations as possible so the late game is a lot quicker.

I saw a two-headed cow once. I don't think it'd go very fast.

I'd get the game but I'm poor, also I didn't play the other Fallout games and continuation crap that'd confuse me?

different developers and the game takes place 200 years later on the other side of the continent, a move designed to specifically avoid ties to the earlier game. there is nothing from earlier games that creeps into the game you need to know about.

It helps if you have some knowledge of the other games but you don't need to know anything about them.
