Fable

So I picked up this game this morning, and let me start of by saying I hate Xbox. I have easily 100 or so games, and 3 Xboxs, yet I dont ever play em.
So anyway, Fable. So far for me, this has lived up to the hype, and actually has me playing my xbox for more than an hour. Being evil is very fun, if not a little more difficult, but Ill probably end up playing through this a couple times as different alignments/character builds. Right now I'm about 2 hours in and well on my way to being evil (I can see the horns growing and my skin gets paler by the second). I've been training mostly in magic, and building up some good sword skills as well. Anyway, anyone else here played this yet? What do you guys think of this game?

how can you hate xbox? its too gg, its worth picking up alone for halo and in 2 months halo 2! anyway, fable. right now im saving up for halo2 and xbox live and stuff but yes i'm definately gonna get fable, i read the review on gamespot and it looks pretty good, ever since i got KOTOR ive been looking for a good RPG like it.

PC > Xbox Halo. I never liked Halo till I played it on PC, my dad will pick up Halo2, but im not really anticipating it.

PC>Xbox only if you got a video card that can make the xbox graphics look like n64 and thats not my case, also consoles are just more fun, you can get your friends over and just chill and what not, on a pc its more lonely to play games ><

I personally like PS2, but from what I have seen and read about this game Fable, I might just buy an XBOX just to play this.

hey, why dont you just buy something like 5 or so used xboxs($75 each) and build a super computer! its possible...of course it would run linux...

Xbox's are the best thing out there, done deal. Yes, better than PC, yes, better Than PS2 (BY FARR!!) and yes, obviouslly, better than GameCube (Everything is better than game cube). xbox's, when hacked, can do jsut about anything except for running windows. You can run linux, another dashboard (avalaunch, evo-x, XBMC,unleashx, ect...) and you can play any type of game on it (except for window's based games, ps2 games, and gamecube games), you can play any format movie or music on it as well. The xbox, is in my, and million's of other peoples opinion, BEST console out there.

Its not better than a PC, i dont know what you're smoking... And so what if it can do all those things? the quality of the games that comes out on xbox is horrid. All the good games Ive played are playable on other systems, save Fable.

Yeah. It can't run windows, therefore It can;t be better then a PC. And show me where these millions of people you speak of are. Last I heard, PS2 raped Xbox as far as how many people play and own the system.

Fable was supposed to be really something great, but it flopped. It is a shame too.

Ya i picked that bad boy up the day it came out, ohh...beyond my expectations, Nothin beats a game where ur able to beat the shit out of ur wife and then commit bigomy get drunk and stumble around for an hour

I hate fable. I rented it, sat down, and played it for about 8 hours, and beat it.

What the **** kinda game can you beat in 8 hours thats RPG like? God it sucked.

On a side note; the begining is fun when you're the little boy (im talking like right when you start a new game) and you can just punch people without punishment
