Well, my account got banned for 1st offense due to maphacking. But the thing is the only games I played were Custom aginst some friends. Not once did I do a Ladder game.
So, I created a new account and I'm wondering what a 2nd offense could mean. I've read vague reports they ban your cd-key. But from Ladder games or BattleNet period? In other words if I get zapped next mass ban will I still be able to play Custom games or will I be shit out of luck completely?
Another option is figuring some way to direct connect with my friends and not even use BattleNet. Is this possible without running a Linux/Unix server? If so could someone kindly point me in the right direction as to how to accomplish this?
