everytime i go on battle net this screen always pops up..

yep the black screen of bordom. it happens everytime i log on, only way i can get the games is if i press alt- Esc and go back in but now with the new patch it takes even longer than before..

it is really pissing me off.

p.s i can join games but if i make a game ppl says my lag is very high. this never happened til i got another starcraft cd and used another CD key (dont ask why...)

Yea I had all that happen to me before. Then cort gave me that link that he gave you, I fixed it, and none of that crap happens any more.

i didn't have the same router either.. i had to go open the settings thing i used to set the router up the first time.. i don't know if that link is the same as the Sticky about routers in the Tech section of battleforums, but you might want to check that out (don't know the name of the section offhand, it's where all the techies hang out :))

That does happen when you go to join a game, cancel out, go to join again, cancel out again, and try to look at the game list a third time.

Battle.net is a free server, and as such, you have to deal with the shitty refresh time, and ping lag they have for hosted games.

Now if that happens the first time you go to join a game, well then yeah, try messing around with your TCP ports. If you don't have those open, chances are that's your problem.

but what about my non- connected to router computer?
I'm not 100% sure what you said there. :-/ Could you please clarify?
