Ok so when im making a smite pally and your supposed to put points into dex untill you have max block???? how do you knwo when you have max block?? i put 160 into dex already and i dont know if i put to much or what but it says i have 75% chance blocking and the monsters chance of hitting me is all diff..
so am i good or i need more or what... HELP PLZ....

160 is good... make sure u have items that give u +dext.. on my zealot i wanted max block and i put in like 120 dext.. and right now with all my items i have about 270

i dont know about exile, but with a hoz, you only need like 130 for max block, something like that... i'll edit in a sec


edit: @char level 99, you need 196 dexterity in order to have max block with a hoz. That is 196@99, -2 dex per level less

i'd find out what an exile sheild if I knew how much chance to block it had.

Max Block Forumula:

%to block=(%block on shield+bonus from skill)*(dex-15)/(clvl*2)

Don't just listen to someone who says "thats enough dex i think."

Shield, bonuses, dex, and clvl all come into effect.
