im sorry but this dll won't change anything... at least it didn't on my version
the problem is the d2data.mpq and d2exp.mpq i think

well soemtimes its also the patch_d2.mpq file. there are some files (TBL files) which contain all the names of the items and monsters in it aswell as the conversations. you cant change those file unless you njust want to play singleplayer. to open the files you have to download Darkstorms D2 Table Editor. but i'm not sure
