I did some research to see if we should end women suffrage. I asked 5 random female people on AIM. Here is what they had to say.

That's pretty funny, but you did lead them on a bit to make them think suffrage meant something else. Like the part about women being discriminated and when you said think suffer. Funny how people don't know what it means though.

I thought everyone learned about the women's suffrage movement in school, though. Susan B. Anthony? Lucy Stone? The Women's Declaration of Independence? Oh, well...

I tried talking to the ones you cited, but only one responded. (Two were offline, one was away or something.) She was under the impression that it meant pain and suffering. At least, I think so. She left when I asked her for her definition of the word. :-/

This thread is iffy.
It doesn't surprise me, the reactions you get, considering these are young girls on AIM. I also saw this on the man show. It was fairly funny, but it's a (somewhat) understandable mistake.
