Electronic music

Over the past few weeks I've gained a huge amount of interest in electronic music. Absolutely fascinated with synthesizers.
I remember a few members where into this.
Don't really know why i'm making this thread, just looking to get more into it i suppose.
Sofar i dont really know too many bands just been listening to Darude, armin van buuren a state of trance, Gary Numan, Dj tiesto (sp), and Infected mushroom.
any information/websites/good songs/bands/etc would be appreciated.

I listen to some Chemical Brothers, Orbital and stuff like that, but very rarely. Talk to Galatia or Clearcast. They know what's up.

Chemical Bros are good, not too keen on their new album though, not sure if its released in the states yet. Sound like you like your dance and trance, try Paul van Dyk, BT, Delerium, Basement Jaxx, Mandalay (sp), Sandstorm, Sven Vath, Members of Mayday, Junkie XL, Micro uhh.. Chicane, Deep Dish, Push, Olive, Signum.. I can go on for hours, easiest to say whos beats do you like best?

Best thing to do is dont buy specific artists albums for now, but get established big label compilations like Ministry of sound, Gatecrasher, React (now called Resist), Helter Skelter, DJ sets like Dave Pierce, Pete Tong and John Peel etc just to give yourself a rough idea of what youre into. Try other genres. Electronic is a bit of a vague description.. Need to be more precise..

Youre gonna get bored with Tiesto and Paul Oakenfold fast.
