I was just wondering Is duping for real? I mean can They really do it? I have seen people make games saying that they can but i am just wondering if they are just trying to con you out of your stuff

dude there is no such thing as a public dupe people that dupe only are massive item sellers or just people who work for blizzard. there was a public dupe in 09
but its gone doesnt work any more so please dont trick your self for some stupid newbs that say Ohh ill dupe for you and then leave with the items you given him.. so just play the game get your sorc high lvl and use bot to mf stuff over night while your a sleep i find soem goodies overnight too so i dont really need to seek for dupes that are 100% scamm especially on ebay... do not trust ebay. :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked :shocked

at teh god ur words arent welcome here ne more and there are such things as public dupes they arent myths and item sellers dont work for blizz if they did blizz would have only 1 site and stick to it

yes, there are public dupes. no, they do not have a high chance of success (aka 1/100 chance of working) they are called lag dupes.

yes, there are other dupes, no, there not public, and no, you wont ever find one (unless released to public)

and i believe (not for sure but i know a few are) most stores selling d2items are doing so thanks to bots, not dupers, or people working at blizz...

Hey im a little new to open bnet. How do you dupe on open bnet?
Also..i wanna make a character like lvl 99 with open stats that i could put into. I wanna do this to test to see if the build would work good on regular bnet. Is there anyway i can do this?

Using an item editor, that is possible. I reccomend Zonfire.

The people who do dupe are usually banned quickly. Unless they have really good methods of undetection. Every Data/Packet used while inside the game is recorded and passes through Battle.Net's Server. They know their code, they know when it is changed slightly. I do have a friend who does and is still active. Blizzard is probably working on WoW so much that they aren't paying much attention to their other games.
