Dumb AIM question

When I hit the 20 minute idle period on my new computer, my AIM automatically shuts itself off. First I thought it might have been AIMuation so I uninstalled that, but it kept doing it. Anyone know why it might be doing this?

Check all your settings and make sure there is none that say like "auto disconnect on idle" or something like that.

Or you could get rid of the ads and switch to trillian.
