Druid With A Maul

I think I read somewhere that when a Druid wields a maul, the attack speed is always "Fast"

I was using a Gavel of Pain and the attack speed was only normal.

Basically, does that mean that the druids attack speed with mauls increase by two "ranks" when comparing to other characters?

same as how w/ assassins blades the speed is fast, but with everyone esle its very slow

yes, druids are exceptionally fast with mauls. I think (not 100% sure but based on all my tests) that the Great Axe is the fastest druid weapon.

Yeah. there is a certain speed difference percentage but i dont know what it is off the top of my head.
