Drop mod problems please help

no matter what drop mods i load onto my diablo 2 LOD it comes up in the menu screen where it says

Single player
Battlenet
[B]HYGELAC[/B]

whenever it has that up i can not get into the game at all, when i take the mod off it works again. whenever it has that hygelac shit up it wont work. what do i have to do or what mod can i use that will work

eh, ive never ever been able to succesfully get a drop mod to work...but the agin....i never really play open...open isnt worth the time anyways..
