i havent realy made ne topics before so i just thought id ask bout dreadlocks.

Ive recently,well this whole time,wanted dreadlocks,they look so awesome.But i dont know if im able to make them,and im worried bout having school,so ill wait. If u have seen one of my ugly pics u would see how bad and frizzy my hair is,so if any of u guys sport the dreads,can u give me lil pointers,or if u dont,leave a comment ='/.

I don't see why dreadlocks would be a problem at school...unless you're in middle school or something...

I doubt you'd be able to do them...you'd probably need someone else to do it for you.

well i know that,for like the back,its just i dont know if my hairs is right for it,cuz i dont wanna shave my head and grow them out ='/

edit* oh yes it would be a problem at my highschool,way to many gangsters that dont understand nething but bling bling,ice,and cornrows,n there gangster kicks. they even make fun of my pants *sob* ='(

and you know, you could just not wash your hair for such a long time that your hair clumps up with all the dirt and shit and becomes dreadlocks.

Im actually getting dreads, I just bought a can of notty boy like 15 minutes ago, and you do wash your hair when you have dreads, the moisture from the oil in your hair is bad for them

you need at least 3 inch hair, to get them and 4 inch hair after its done looks like 3 and a half inch

<- got hair down past my shoulders, 2 years of growing.

my friend got dreads, i help him make 'em.

Tips:
- wash hair thouroughly before you do it(itll be ur last for a while)
- use wax + hair spray + gel
- pull dreds back, not out or up (as in pull them to the back of ur head like youd comb them back)
- twist the dred alot, then comb it torward your scalp, then twist, comb, twist, comb, etc.

befre you get them, make sure uw ant them, cause u -can- get them out, but itll hurt -alot- and ur hair will look like shit, plus itll take a while to get them out. (my friend told me so, hes had dreds 3 times, takent hem out 2 times)

i never wanted my hair in dreds. i like keeping mine braided myself, guess its just personal taste
